The prequel with Academy Award-nominated actress Naomi Watts, as announced by Deadline, is no longer a different spin-off show. By May 2017 HBO had produced a four independent 'Game of Thrones' spin-off series, with was occurred in the World of the Author George R.R. Martin's unfinished 'A Song of Ice and Fire,' within 4 distinct time-periods.
